LOVE—For one and all!

Unless you are an ostrich with your head in the ground, you have heard a lot lately about Iraq and other Middle Eastern countries. Many people in the Middle East and Central Asia have not known the kind of freedoms we have every single day. It’s going to take a lot of Christians working and praying together to help these people know true, spiritual freedom.

Many people in Iraq and Central Asia are Muslims—people who follow the religion called Islam. They call God “Allah” and worship only Him. They obey strict rules about living a very careful life—they don’t want to mess up and miss seeing God after they die. That doesn’t sound too bad, does it? But their religion is missing something—do you notice what it is? That’s right! They don’t put their faith in Jesus Christ as God’s only Son, their Savior! So it turns out that Muslims are walking in spiritual darkness without Jesus. That’s mongo bad, dudes!

God loves the Muslims as much as He loves you and me! That’s a massive thing to remember, friends, as you hear more and more about Muslims. They deserve to know that God loves them so much He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for their sins. And guess who needs to tell them? You and me and other Kids On Mission, along with Christians from around the world!

You gotta remember, too, dudes: When Muslims decide to follow Jesus instead of their old religious rules they probably will get in bad trouble from their family and friends. They might get beaten up or even die for their new faith. So it is a big, big decision. But it’s the RIGHT decision that will give them eternal life!

God has a LOT of love—enough for EVERY person on the planet. The question is, will we make sure everyone knows?
