Myanmar is in Southeast Asia. It borders Thailand and Laos on the southeast, China to the northeast, the Chinese Autonomous Region of Tibet to the north and India and Bangladesh to the west. Myanmar's southwestern and southern borders are natural borders. These natural borders are a long stretch of coastline along the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea.
