Student Missions
Students from California Baptist University spent two weeks working with Iraqi Kurds and Muslims in a refugee camp in Bari, Italy. They played games, sang songs and developed friendships with these refugees. Hope was instilled in the hearts of some who never have experienced God’s truth and love.
   
Factoid:
After Sept. 11, 2001, Southern Baptists cancelled 42 volunteer mission trips for ministries sponsored by the International Mission Board. In contrast, the numbers of long-term missionaries increased by 51 percent.
